Colin Hansen CFII

Colin knew he wanted a career in aviation after a discovery flight he took at Exec 1 Aviation during his junior year of high school.  He then went on to graduate from Indian Hills Community College in 2010 with a degree in Aviation.  Colin holds his Commercial, CFI, and CFII certificates.  He currently works full time as a flight instructor at Exec 1 Aviation.  You can reach Colin at 515-491-0842 or email him at colin.hansen13@gmail.com.

Josh Gipple CFIAIM

Josh has always had a passion for aviation since he was 8 years old, and when he was 15 years old he began flying with his neighbor in a Comanche 250 almost every weekend. He then went on to graduate from the University of Dubuque in 2011 with a degree in Flight Operations and a Minor in Aviation Management. Josh holds his Commercial Pilot’s License in single engine and multi-engine land. Also, Josh holds a CFI certificate with Instrument and Multi-Engine Instructor ratings. Nick Lambert

Nick caught the flying bug after a neighbor took him on charter flights in a helicopter when he was young. After finishing high school,Nick obtained his Private Pilot License. He went on and joined the US Army as a UH-60 (Blackhawk helicopter) Crew Chief and served just under 7 years with 3 tours in Iraq. Once out of the service, with his Airframe and Power Plant License in hand, he went to work as a airline mechanic, followed by a job as a Blackhawk helicopter mechanic. He finished training for his Instrument, Commercial, and Multi-engine Certificates in Austin, Texas. Nick also holds his CFI certificate with Instrument and Multi-Engine Instructor ratings. His dream is to pass the flying bug on to his two young sons. Nick currently works full time as a flight instructor at Exec 1 Aviation.
