At Exec 1 we cater to the pilot and strive to make your stay here as enjoyable as possible. Our desk staff can arrange catering, rental cars, or hotel reservations. In addition to our attentive desk staff, we offer complimentary crew cars, office space, a shower room and a choice of coffees. We are minutes away from several first-rate golf courses and can recommend nearly every type of food at dozens of nearby restaurants. Whether you're staying for an hour or for a couple of days, we are here to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Pilot's Lounge and Flight Planning

Plan your next flight from Exec 1. We stock a wide variety of pilot supplies including most current navigation charts. Our flight planning room features WSI weather for accurate up to the minute information. Two internet terminals as well as wireless internet are provided for public usage. A large private pilots lounge is available with comfortable recliners and dish television to make waiting for your passengers restful and relaxing.

Conference Room

Located at the crossroads of Iowa's two major interstates, Exec 1 makes a great meeting place. A large conference room is available for meetings and other events free of charge. With room for 40 it can accomodate the needs of many businesses or organizations. A new display screen and digital projector with DVD and computer inputs as well as audio make presentations simple and professional. For even larger groups our main hangar is available as a meeting place as well. Please call ahead to reserve a time.

We offer Phillips 66 Jet-A with Prist and Phillips 100LL full service. To ensure your safety our line crew test every tanker of fuel unloaded into our fuel farm according to ATA103 commercial airline standards as part of our Fuel Quality Control Program. These daily inspections and tests performed by our line crew safeguard the fuel's integrity after it's been delivered. With Phillips 66 and Exec 1 Aviation teaming up you're guaranteed quality fuel delivered safely, quickly and inexpensively.

Do you need a place to tie down or hangar your aircraft? At Ankeny Regional Airport there are no landing or tie down fees. Exec 1 provides a spot for your aircraft that in large heated community hangars rented on a nightly, weekly and monthly basis. We do all the work of pulling and parking your plane. Polk County has 72 private unheated T- hangars to lease annually on the field.

Aircraft Washing and Detailing

A clean plane is a happy plane. Our line crew has been properly trained to carefully wash and detail your aircraft. We use only aviation grade cleaning products to keep your aircraft bright and shiny. Plus you can choose the level of cleaning you want, from a quick exterior wash to a complete wax and buff or a meticulous interior detail.

Ramp Services

We offer many ramp services in addition to fueling, parking and washing planes. We can provide you with GPU service. We also can jump start you plane if needed. In the winter we are prepared to pre-heat your plane by warming it in one of our heated hangars. We offer de-icing service as well. We use Type I de-icing fluid and have the lifts needed to reach on top of the tails of taller aircraft. From the smallest homebuilt to the largest corporate jet we'll do whatever we can to make Exec 1 Aviation a place you'll want to come back to.
