In addition to being Des Moines’ only local private jet charter fleet, Exec 1 Aviation provides a full range of fueling and line services, ground transportation, catering, hangar and ramp space rental as well as aircraft management, maintenance and flight instruction.   • $250 from 10:00 PM to Midnight
  • $350 from Midnight to 4:00 AM
  • $250 from 4:00 AM to 6:00 AM
  • Rates may vary by aircraft type and on weekends/holidays

Flight Instruction

The freedom of flight can be yours by becoming an FAA licensed pilot. We are the Des Moines area’s busiest and best flight school. As a Flight Training Center, we train students in well-maintained Cessna Skyhawks using proven curriculum.

Our well-educated professional staff of instructors will guide you on the path to becoming a pilot. With on-site facilities for ground instruction and a full-time staff of instructors, we can help you to achieve your goals in an efficient timeframe.

Maintenance

Exec 1 Aviation is a Certified Part 145 FAA Repair Station ( #X1AR676H ) servicing all makes of piston, turbine and limited jet aircraft, along with our dedicated Parts Department which maintains an extensive inventory of commonly needed items for our customers. Choose us as your one stop maintenance facility for all your needs.

We have extensive experience on various types of fixed-wing aircraft. Our experienced mechanics, including three IAs, are here and ready to help you with all your scheduled or unscheduled aircraft maintenance. We perform repairs ranging from routine inspections to Bi-Annual Pitot Static and Transponder testing, to structural repair and Oil and Filter changes.

Our priority at Exec 1 is to solve your aircraft issues safely and efficiently in order to minimize aircraft downtime.

All Exec 1 Maintenance personnel adhere to our FAA Approved Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program as required for Part 135 Operators (documentation available by request).
